PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease a precision requirement in a manufacturing process of a rice ball package having cutouts at corners. SOLUTION: A package M comprises a back film having stripe-like dividing means of a cutout that divides the back film latitudinally into two portions, which are made to overlap a rectangular front film and the peripheries of both films are joined, except a part where portions of the back film overlapping each other, to make a bag part for containing a sheet-like food. Cutouts are formed at both corners on latitudinal sides of the package M, respectively. In a process of manufacturing the packages M by cutting them out of an elongated law material film F, a plurality of the packages to be cut out are arranged laterally on the film F, and the cutout corners of packages adjacent to each other in the center and both side ends of the film F are cut out altogether with a cutter to make each cutout have a L-shape with rounded corners.
