PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle provided with a folding type pedal and capable of securely holding a folded condition of the pedal. SOLUTION: This bicycle is constituted in such a way that a pedal tread 3 is supported on a pedal main body attached rotatably to a pedal main shaft forming the center of rotation of a crank arm 10 so as to fold it freely, the pedal tread 3 is held on the pedal main shaft in a use form by a stopper means, holding is released by operation to enable folding displacement of the pedal tread 3, and a fitting channel 9 holding the folded pedal tread 3 is provided between the pedal tread 3 and the crank arm 10.
