PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new type shoes which can solve the problems that the inside of the shoes are easily filled with body odors and malodors of sweat which is secreted from feet of a shoe wearer, and the problems that tinea causing molds easily breed inside. SOLUTION: The ventilable shoe has a hollow air-supply chamber inside a raised heel section formed in a sole board, sidewall sections of the air supply chamber is made up of a comparatively hard and elastically deformable material and has holes communicative with the outside, the sole board is formed inside with air flow passages whose proximal end side communicates with the air supply chamber and whose distal end sides reach toe positioned portions to be opened, and check valves which allow air movement only to the air flow passage side are provided at the holes communicative with the outside and at the communicative portion to the air flow passage in the air supply chamber.
