<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which state of water retention of a membrane electrode assembly contributing to power generation performance is retained homogeneously. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with an MEA (membrane electrodes assembly) constituted by pinching an electrolyte film 1 by electrodes 2, 3 and a separator which pinches the MEA and which has a reaction gas flow-path in the confronting face against the MEA. This is constituted so that a cathode flow-path 7 formed at least at one separator, a cathode separator 5 in this case, is constituted of a cathode flow-path 7a in which a part of circulating oxidizer gas is diffused into an oxidizer electrode 3, and of cathode flow-paths 7b, 7c in which all of the circulating oxidizer gas is supplied to the oxidizer electrode 3. Furthermore, at least a part of the oxidizer gas circulated in the cathode flow-path 7a is supplied to the cathode flow-paths 7b, 7c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
