<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition which can be fired at a low temperature without lowering the dielectric constant and formed into a super thin layer satisfying the X5R characteristics (EIA specifications) and a multilayer ceramic capacitor using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The low temperature-fired dielectric ceramic composition has a formula of aBaTiO<SB>3</SB>-bMgCO<SB>3</SB>-cY<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-dCr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-eV<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>-f(xZrO<SB>2</SB>-y(K, Li)<SB>2</SB>O-zSiO<SB>2</SB>)(where x+y+z=1, 0.05≤x≤0.18, 0.01≤y≤0.08 and 0.74≤z≤0.93) and the molar ratio satisfies a=100, 1.0≤b≤2.0, 0.2≤c≤2.0, 0.02≤d≤0.3, 0.02≤e≤0.3 and 0.5≤f<2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
