<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an illuminating lamp after extending the service life of its light source. <P>SOLUTION: Three front-facing semiconductor light emitting elements 12 are arranged at circumferentially equal intervals around an optical axis Ax extending in the longitudinal direction of this lamp, and three rear-facing semiconductor light emitting elements 14 are arranged at positions circumferentially shifted by half intervals on the front side of the lamp and with respect to the optical axis Ax. The reflecting surface of a reflector 16 is composed of: three first small reflecting surfaces 18a respectively reflecting light from the elements 12 radially outward; three second small reflecting surfaces 20a for respectively reflecting the reflected light toward the front side of the lamp; three third small reflecting surfaces 18b for respectively reflecting the light from the elements 14 radially outward; and three fourth small reflecting surfaces 20b for respectively reflecting the reflected light toward the front side of the lamp. Thereby, the sizes of the reflecting surfaces 18a and 18b can be sufficiently secured after limiting the outside diameter of the reflector 16 to a small value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
