<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrothermal reaction method in which a treated liquid containing solids can be extracted under a reduced pressure without clogging and wearing of a pressure reducing valve even when there is no filter and in which the extracted liquid can be effectively taken out without any drive force from the outside, and to provide an apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A material to be treated is fed into a reactor 1 to subject it to hydrothermal reaction in supercritical or subcritical state of water. The pressure of a primary fluid containing solids which is separated with a vapor/liquid separator 8 after cooling a reaction fluid is transmitted to a secondary fluid not containing solids through a pressure transmission mechanism 9 or 10 equipped with an elastic partition wall 9c or 10c having no sliding part. The secondary fluid, after being reduced in pressure by the pressure reducing valve V7 and cooled in a cooler 11, is introduced into another pressure transmission mechanism 10 or 9 to discharge the primary fluid, thereby the pressure-reduced primary fluid is extracted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
