PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing apparatus which can simulate and regenerate rotational fluctuations of a crankshaft, when an internal combustion engine is actually operated, and easily alter the period and the fluctuation width of the rotational fluctuations. SOLUTION: The testing apparatus of power transmission mechanism T, equipped with a drive side rotating shaft Cr and a following side rotating shaft Cm, is provided with a rotating device M, which generates rotational drive capacity and a rotating input means RI for inputting rotation of the rotating device M into drive side rotating shaft Cr. The rotation input means RI is provided with a gear group H, having at least a gear MH installed on a rotating shaft Ms of the rotating device M and a gear RH installed on the drive side rotating shaft Cr.
