PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong durability and service life of a suction hose connected with a suction means for sucking a web. SOLUTION: The suction hose 16 connected with a pressing body 15 of a suction unit 11 sucking the web 3 is provided with a slide type expansible part in which an external pipe 21a and an internal pipe 21b are slidably fitted to allow advance, retraction, and moving of the pressing body 15. Even if the pressing body 15 advances and retracts when splicing the web in a splice mechanism 4, the suction hose 16 is not deformed to prolong durability and service life of the suction hose 16 markedly.
