PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas hot air heating apparatus having an air cleaner capable of solving a problem wherein when an air cleaning part is disposed at the top of the hot air heating apparatus, the apparatus is too large to secure the capacity of the air cleaner. SOLUTION: This hot air heating apparatus comprises a convection fan 4 for sending hot air disposed parallel with a combustion chamber 2 as viewed from the side thereof, an air cleaning fan 15 installed at the top thereof, and an air cleaning filter 13 installed at the top of the air cleaning fan 15. The apparatus sucks air to be cleaned from the top thereof and blows out the cleaned air forward. A cooling air passage 29 is formed to position the air cleaning part adjacent to the combustion chamber of the hot air heating part so as to reduce the size of the apparatus.
