PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for improving uneven wear generated in circuit travel with large lateral acceleration in turning travel without deteriorating heel and toe wear resistance in ordinary travel. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire dividedly forms a block 7B by a circumferential groove 2C extending in the tire circumferential direction T and a lateral groove 4 arranged at a prescribed pitch in the tire circumferential direction T and extending in the tire width direction in a shoulder area 1B of a tread surface 1 for designating the tire rotational direction R in one direction. The relationship is set toβ>αbetween an inclinationαof a tire rotational directional side groove wall surface 7B1 of the block 7B facing the lateral groove 4 and an inclinationβof a tire anti-rotational directional side groove wall surface 7B2, and a chamfer is also applied to a tire rotational directional side edge part 7B3 of the block 7B.
