PREPARATION METHOD FOR POLYAMIDE REIN COMPOSITION, AND MOLDED ARTICLE OBTAINED FROM THE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a polyamide resin composition which does not undergo blue or violet coloring due to a cobalt compound when molded into a molded article, is excellent in appearance characteristics, and has an oxygen absorbing function and to provide a molded article obtained from the resin composition. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition comprises cobalt acetate tetrahydrate and a resin mainly comprising a polyamide prepared by polycondensing m-xylylenediamine and adipic acid as the main monomers. The preparation method for the polyamide resin composition comprises subjecting a mixture of the resin and cobalt acetate tetrahydrate to at least one heat treatment selected from melt kneading, drying, and solid phase polymerization under a pressure of 160 Torr or lower.
