SOLUTION: The video recording and reproducing apparatus 100 receives a broadcast program on the basis of video recording reservation set by a user and stores the program to a disk A being a recording medium, and stores video recording reservation information to a timer microcomputer section 109. Then an MPU 105 applies execution control to a Web server program and accepts browsing of a video recording reservation list, new registration, revision, or deletion of the list stored in the timer microcomputer section 109 requested by a Web browser program working on a personal computer (C) 200 via the Internet.
