PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insufficient programming caused when a programmation pulse fails to change the condition of a fuse by preventing the excessive programming caused by supplying many programmation pulses to one fuse. SOLUTION: The adaptive algorithm for the electrical fuse programming comprises: deciding a firstly desired programming condition (301); supplying one programmation pulse to each of the electrical fuses in which desired data has a first digital condition (303); reading the condition of the fuse (304); updating the desired data to reflect the fuse not changed the condition in the preceding programmation (306); repeating the step of the selective programming (303), the step of reading (304), and the step of reforming the data (306); and repeating (305) until all the fuses come to the desired condition.
