PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody efficient industrialization in a large-scale olefin polymerization with a metallocene catalyst, in which the embodiment comprises raising catalytic activity and polymerization efficiency, fully showing a metallocene catalyst capability, and maintaining a stable polymerization reaction. SOLUTION: In a commercial scale production plant of the olefin polymerization with the metallocene catalyst, an improved method for producing the polyolefin comprises controlling a content of inclusion of a halogen-containing compound to a gram atomic weight of a transition metal of the metallocene catalyst becoming≤0.8, the content of inclusion of a halogen-containing compound meaning a gram atomic weight of the halogen atom in a halogen-containing compound derived from a solvent, a raw material, and the like except the halogen atom derived from the catalyst components.
