WATER DRAIN STRUCTURE OF V-TYPE ENGINE

PURPOSE: A water drain structure of a V-type engine is provided to improve the durability of the engine, and to prevent corrosion of parts by restricting foreign matters from staying in the groove with completely discharging water and foreign matters through first and second discharge holes from the groove. CONSTITUTION: A water drain structure of a V-type engine comprises a first discharge hole(21) formed in the lower pat of a rear partition wall(19) to communicate a groove(15) between left and right banks(11,13) with the rear part of a cylinder block(10); a rear cavity(27) formed by an edge(23) of the cylinder block and a rear rib(25) in the rear part connected to the first discharge hole; a second discharge hole(29) formed in the edge to communicate the rear cavity to the cylinder block; and a rear plate combined with the rear part of the cylinder block and contacted to the edge of the cylinder block and the rear rib to seal the rear cavity.
