Reducing the play between the jacket and a turbine distributor consists principally of applying, in the lower part of the external surface of the jacket (8), a protective layer before effecting a re-metallising by diffusion brazing between this jacket and the distributor (3). The layer is notably an anti-adherent ceramic that allows a brazing that does not fix the jacket to the distributor at the level of its lower foot plate.
