The soft, elastic cover is made of a water-repellent synthetic material and does not need to be taken off the bench on a rainy day. Each of the longitudinal edges is bent twice, forming flanges to be positioned around the edges of the bench. Because of its elastic quality it can be easily stretched and attached to the seat area without any fastening elements required.
