PURPOSE: A weather information processing method of a mobile terminal is provided to transmit weather information on a specific area to a terminal when the terminal and an adjacent base station are synchronized. CONSTITUTION: A user of a mobile terminal inputs a reservation operation for informing about weather information(302). The terminal obtains weather information of a short or medium period and time information from a base station when synchronized in standby(301,303). The terminal determines whether the pre-set weather information through the reservation operation and the weather information obtained from the base station are identical(304). If the pre-set weather information and the weather information obtained from the base station are not identical, the obtained weather information is displayed on an LCD of the terminal(306).
