Method for simplifying steering of a motor vehicle with power-assisted steering in the form of a servo steering device has the following steps: determination of whether a driver is attempting to straighten up at the end of a curve; calculation of a steering wheel return torque for a particular curve; calculation of a measured steering wheel return torque for an actual driving situation; and input of the calculated steering wheel return torque into the servo steering device. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (a) a motor vehicle power-assisted servo-steering system and; (b) a motor vehicle with power assisted steering.
