METHOD FOR DECREASING TAR MIST IN COKE OVEN GAS BY CONTROLLING HOT FLUSHING LIQUOR JETTING TIME

PURPOSE: A method for decreasing a tar mist in a coke oven gas by controlling hot flushing liquor jetting time is provided to solve the problem of rise of COG temperature, by jetting hot flushing liquor of 70-80deg.C in a COG pipe between a first gas cooler entrance and an electric dust collector and to remarkably reduce a tar mist content contained in the COG. CONSTITUTION: In the method for decreasing a tar mist in a coke oven gas by controlling hot flushing liquor jetting time, a jetting condition follows the pattern of jetting for 1-5 minutes and cooling 1-5 minutes. The rise of COG temperature is controlled in the range of less than 1 deg.C by repeating jetting and cooling of the flushing liquor.
