In a floating platform, temporary buoyancy modules (30) detachably mounted on the hull (12) of the floating platform (10) are provided. Each temporary buoyancy module (30) is provided with removable winches (42) for developing initial pre-tension of pre-installed tendons (20) for anchoring the platform (10) at the installation site.
