The dosing valve has a housing (11) with fuel input (13) to a dosing chamber (21) and operable outlet (14) for issuing fuel. The dosing chamber is sealed to the outlet on a wall sector (12) by a sealing element. The wall sector has recesses (e.g. 31) in its side facing the sealing element, to receive swelling sealing material from the sealing element.
