A light-emitting device usable as a module providing dual-sided displaying and having a small volume. A pixel part is provided with a light-emitting element represented by an EL device. One light-emitting device has such two pixel parts. A first pixel part emits light only from the common electrode side of the light-emitting element. The second pixel part emits light only from the pixel electrode side thereof. That is, the direction of emission of light at the first pixel part is opposite to that at the second one.
