PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided, to adhere an insulating tape automatically to the both terminals of a battery cell in the automatic line which mounts a circuit protective printed circuit board automatically to the cell contained in a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a tape supply means(100) which receives an unfinished cell from a cell supply device, sends it a cell transfer pallet(4), takes off a piece of insulation tape and inverts them with pulling a tape roll where a piece of insulation tape are adhered at regular intervals, and collects a releasing paper; a tape moving means(200) which adheres the inverted insulation tape to a finger bar(66) to reinvert it and moves the reinverted one to the position where the terminal of a cell(5) is located; and a tape pressing means(300) which pushes down and adheres the moved insulation tape with pushing down in two-step according the characteristics of shape of the terminal part of a cell so as to allow the insulation tape to be adhered to stepped terminal part tightly.
