APPARATUS FOR DETECTING RUGGED BUMP ON THE SURFACE OF STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting rugged bump of a line shape formed in a transfer direction by contacting oil stone on the surface of strip transferred, thereby grinding the surface of strip with the oil stone is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(10) comprises a main body(27) installed at a lower side of the strip(5); at least one or more of shock absorbers(28) installed at a lower part of the main body to absorb an external impact; at least one or more pairs of liftable and lowerable stands(21,21') mounted on an upper part of the main body with being spaced apart from the main body in a certain distance in a width direction of the strip and respectively connected to stepping motors(23,23') in such a way that height of the liftable and lowerable stands is vertically adjusted; supporting plates(16,16') respectively installed on an upper part of the liftable and lowerable stands; and rotation oil stones(12,12') installed on an upper part of the supporting plates in such a way that the rotation oil stones are rotated centering around an axis parallel to a width direction of the strip, wherein the apparatus further comprises oil stone abrasion sensing sensors(32,32') fixed to an upper part of the supporting plates and installed adjacently to the edge of the rotation oil stones to sense abrasion degree of the rotation oil stones; and a vibration displacement sensing sensor(34) fixed to an upper part of the main body and installed adjacently to a lower part of the strip to sense vibration degree of the strip.
