LAMINATE STRUCTURE EXCELLING IN FUEL PERMEATION PREVENTING PERFORMANCE

A laminate structure excelling in fuel permeation preventing performance, especially capability of preventing the permeation of automobile fuel. In particular, a laminate structure excelling in capability of preventing the permeation of gasoline or gasohol (a mixture of gasoline and alcohol) in a high temperature atmosphere and in stress cracking resistance upon the immersion in gasohol, which is suitable for use in gasoline tanks, tubes and other fuel parts for fuel storage and transportation. The laminate structure is characterized in that it comprises at least two layers consisting of a layer of ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer saponified and a polyamide layer, the polyamide layer containing 100 pts.wt. of polyamide resin and 0.2 to 5 pts.wt. of phyllosilicate uniformly dispersed in the polyamide resin.
