摘要 PURPOSE: A wireless LAN based customer service system and method is provided to rapidly check a customer position and to immediately offer a high quality service to the customer by using a wireless terminal, held by an employer, and a wireless terminal, fixed at a table in a restaurant. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a customer data management module(11), an order management module(12), and a wireless network management module(13). The customer data management module(11) stores data on customers and reservations, and outputs a table number if a customer name is input. The order management module(12) stores order data for each table, makes a real time transmission of order data from an employer terminal to a kitchen terminal, monitors a table status via a customer terminal, and orders the employer, positioned nearest a corresponding customer table, to offer an additional service to the customer table. The wireless network management module(13) transmits user or terminal authentication process data and the nearest positioned employer data to the order management module(12).
