PURPOSE: A slide type mobile phone with a cover part is provided to allow a user to smoothly slide a main part of a mobile phone by using a cover part. CONSTITUTION: A main part(10) of a mobile phone includes an antenna positioned at its upper end, a number key(13) for inputting numbers and characters, and a microphone(14) positioned at a lower end thereof. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) part(20) includes a receiver(21), an input button(22) having function keys, a power key and a call key, and an LCD(23) for displaying data inputted from the number key(13) on a screen. A cover part(30) protects the exterior of the mobile phone and the LCD(23) by covering both sides and a portion of the front side of the mobile phone. When the mobile phone is used, the cover part(30) is rotated toward the rear side of the mobile phone and presses a slope portion of a battery to make the main part(10) slid downwardly.
