An electric heating system is provided, in which a hazard of an electric leakage and an electric shock can be removed when the electric heating system is used on the ground in the open field or at a high humid place such as a green house called a vinyl house. The electric heating system includes a mat (M) having a heater (4) and a sensor (6), and a temperature controller (Tc). A comparator (16) receives the 12V DC voltage and compares a signal input from a sensor (6) of the mat (M) with a value set in a temperature setter (20). According to a comparison result of the comparator (16), the LED of a photo-coupler (18) is turned on or off. As a result, when the LED is turned on, the triac in the photo-coupler (18) is turned on and thus the gate of the on/off switch (22) is triggered, which causes the secondary voltage of the transformer (24) be supplied to the heater (4). |
