ZIRCONIA-CARBON-BASED REFRACTORY COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: Provided is a zirconia(ZrO2)-carbon(C)-based refractory composition improving high temperature property and corrosion resistance, which can reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: The ZrO2-C-based refractory composition comprises: 100pts.wt. of a mixture comprising 70-85wt% of a ZrO2 clinker and 15-30wt% of a flake graphite; 2-4pts.wt. of a liquid phase phenol resin; 1-5pts.wt. of a charcoal- or petroleum-based solid phase pitch having a softening point of 100-250deg.C; additionally, 1-10pts.wt. of an aluminum metal salt.
