PURPOSE: A dual-axis rotary type mobile terminal is provided to allow a user to easily recognize data visually in watching movies, transmitting a message or an e-mail or doing games. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal includes a bar-type first housing(10), a bar-type second housing(20) and a cylindrical hinge housing(30) connecting the first and second housings(20) by-axially. The second housing(20) is two-step connected to the first housing(10) centering around the first and second hinge axes(A1,A2). The first and second hinge axes(A1,A2) are in mutually perpendicular directions, and when the second hinge axis(A2) rotates, the first hinge axis(A1) also rotates. Consequently, the first and second hinge axes(A1,A2) are positioned in horizontal and vertical directions of the hinge housing(30). The first housing(10) includes a key array(110) having multiple keys as arranged and a microphone(112) positioned close to the key array(110) at its upper surface(10a). The second housing(20) includes a speaker(210) and a main display unit(212) positioned close to the speaker(210) at its lower surface(20b) and an auxiliary display unit at its upper surface.
