PURPOSE: A method for making glitter powder is provided to perform a finely cutting step more efficiently, to minimize the generation of defects, and to continuously produce glitter powder having a uniform particle size and shape. CONSTITUTION: The method for making glitter powder by using a finely cutting roller having a pattern engraved with low-temperature treatment comprises a step for finely cutting a film for glitter provided as a film for producing glitter powder to be used as a decorative pattern into fine particles at a finely cutting section. In the method, the finely cutting step of the film for glitter is performed by using the film for glitter which has been treated at a low temperature to facilitate cutting of the film.
