GAS ATOMIZER FOR SPRAY CASTING

PURPOSE: A gas atomizer for spray casting is provided which fundamentally prevents clogging of molten metal orifice and performs spray casting smoothly by preventing generation of back pressure through structure improvement of simple gas nozzles. CONSTITUTION: The gas atomizer(2) for spray casting comprises a ring shaped main body(10) in which high pressure gas storage part(4) is installed, and which is equipped with a hollow part(8) so that stream(6) of molten metal passes through the hollow part; atomizing nozzles(14) a plurality of which are installed with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance within first radius around central point of the main body in a lower part of the main body so that the atomizing nozzles atomize gas jet(12) to dropping stream of molten metal; and back pressure preventing nozzles(18) a plurality of which are installed with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance within second radius smaller than the first radius around the central point of the main body in an inner diameter part(10a) of the main body facing the hollow part so that the back pressure preventing nozzles atomize back pressure preventing jet(16) parallel to dropping stream of molten metal.
