A basic wave and an IM wave as a distortion signal are detected by vector measurement from a base band signal after amplification. The IM wave detected is correlated with the power and frequency and plotted on the frequency axis. By subjecting the IM wave correlated with the power and frequency to IFFT, the IM wave is converted into a wave correlated with the time and power. The amplitude component and phase component of the IM wave which has been subjected to IFFT are obtained for each power. Compensation signal generation information is created by correlating the distortion compensation signal having the IM wave amplitude component and amplitude component of reverse amplitude, the IM wave phase component, and the phase component of the reverse phase with the power. The compensation signal generation information created is stored in a compensation table and a table is created. Thus, it is possible to constitute a simple and small circuit configuration, simplify the processing, increase the processing speed, and suppress the distortion component with a high accuracy.
