<p>A resistive material comprising a metal powder containing copper, manganese, and aluminum, a glass powder and/or a copper oxide powder and a vehicle is disclosed. The metal powder is a mixture of 80-85 weight % of copper, 8-16 weight % of manganese, and 2-7 weight % of aluminum. Up to 10 parts by weight of the glass powder and/or copper oxide powder and 10-15 parts by weight of the vehicle are added per 100 parts by weight of this metal mixture powder. By firing the thus-obtained resistive material in an inert atmosphere, a resistive element or a resistor having such characteristics as low resistance, low TCR, and low thermal electromotive force can be manufactured.</p> |
