APPARATUS FOR MEASURING PERFORMANCE OF RF SIGNAL REPEATER USING RF SWITCH MATRIX

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the performance of an RF(Radio Frequency) signal repeater using an RF switch matrix is provided to enable the use of a network analyzer by routing the output signal of each device using an RF switch matrix and inputting it to each device. CONSTITUTION: An RF switch matrix(10) receives and routes the output signals of an RF signal generator(30) and a network analyzer(40) and transfers them to an RF signal repeater(20), an RF power measuring device(50), and a frequency analyzer(60). The RF power measuring device(50) measures the power of the inputted signals, and the frequency analyzer(60) measures the frequency of the inputted signals. The RF switch matrix(10) receives the output signals of the RF signal repeater(20) and a local oscillator and delivers them to the network analyzer(40) and the RF power measuring device(50). The network analyzer(40) analyzes the signals received though the RF switch matrix(10) and measures the frequency gain characteristics and group delay characteristics of the output signals of the RF signal repeater(20). The RF power measuring device(50) measures the power of the output signals of the RF signal repeater(20). The frequency analyzer(60) measures the frequency of the output signals of the RF signal repeater(20). A switch driver(70) receives a switch control command from a control PC(90) and controls the switch operation of the RF switch matrix(10).
