<p>An organic electroluminescent display (ELD) device having a first substrate (110) having an array element layer (140) and a second substrate (150) having an organic electroluminescent diode (E) includes a gate line (212) formed on the first substrate (110) in a first direction, a data line (236) formed on the first substrate (110) in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a power supply line (213) spaced apart from the data line (236) and formed on the first substrate (110) in the second direction. A switching thin film transistor (Ts) formed near a crossing portion of the gate and data lines (212, 236), the switching thin film transistor (Ts) having a semiconductor layer (222) formed of amorphous silicon. A driving thin film transistor (TD) formed near a crossing portion of the switching thin film transistor (Ts) and the power supply line (236), the driving thin film transistor (TD) having a semiconductor layer (224) formed of same material as the semiconductor layer (222) of the switching thin film transistor (Ts). A connecting electrode (276) connected to the driving thin film transistor (TD), and an electrical connecting pattern (274) formed between the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (150) for electrically connecting the connecting electrode (276) to the organic electroluminescent diode (E). The TFT and OLED are formed on opposite substrates to form a top emission OLED.</p> |
