The method involves an information system (1) memorizing the data representative of geographic maps divided into pixels (301,302,303) along the section of this network and data representative of traffic in the network. A geographic zone is selected by interactive units (3) between the user and this system (1) and the traffic data corresponding to this zone is recovered and utilized for forming a distribution map of the traffic circuit. The system calculates the traffic at all points of the map taking into account the function coefficients of progression of the geo-marketing data. The system calculates the capacity of the flow of traffic in the network at every point.
