<p>In the driving position the folding bicycle features the same geometry in those points which define the driving properties and ergonomics of the bicycle regarding the cyclist, as standard bicycles, while in the position provided for transportation or storage its size corresponds to the size of the car boot of smaller cars. The folding bicycle can be folded without any tools and features no gaps between the assembled parts when in the driving position. The bicycle according to the invention features front forks (4) with both legs (6) accentuated looking forward, while on both legs (6) there are rotating pendulums (7), which are looking back and hold the front wheel (8), so that its forerun is equal to those of non-folding bicycles and can be easily adapted to the predominant type of riding. The pendulums (7) are supported by limiters (9) and are clamped to springs (10), which keep them during the ride to the limiters (9), and the rear forks (17) along with the rear wheel (18) can be rotated around the axis (19), where on frame (1) there is a coaxial shaft (22) with a pair of gearwheels (23, 24), which link the pedals (16) via chains (25, 31) to the gearwheel (32) of the rear wheel (1).</p> |
