The present invention relates to a process for fabricating agglomerated boards and the resultant product of said process, using as raw material a vegetal variety of high fiber content. The fabrication process is characterized for the stages of: a) dimensioning the vegetal stem in sections of a predetermined length; b) removing fiber of the sections obtained in the previous stage; c) subduing the material in fibers into a drying treatment; d) sifting the previously dried material to classify it in different sizes for the formation of different layers which will conform the board thickness to be produced; and e) pressing the board into pressures of 15 to 50 Kg/cm2 and under conditions of 100 to 180°C of temperature.
