A microwave oven includes a cabinet (10) which defines an appearance of the microwave oven, a cooking cavity (11) which is provided in the cabinet (10), a steam generating unit (20) which is provided at a predetermined portion of the cabinet (10), and a steaming unit (30) which is provided in the cabinet (10) so as to define a space separated from the cooking cavity (11). The microwave oven further includes a steam guide passage (50) which is provided in the cabinet (10) to guide steam generated from the steam generating unit (20) into the steaming unit (30).
