CERAMIC TUBE USED IN CIRCULATING RADIANT TUBE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A ceramic tube used in a circulating radiant rube and its preparation method are provided, to obtain a ceramic tube having excellent mechanical properties by simple process. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing a sintering auxiliary comprising alumina and yttria in the ratio of 8:2 to 6.5:3.5 by weight with silicon carbide; mixing the obtained mixture with a dispersant, a binder and a dispersion medium to prepare a slip; controlling the pH of slip; molding the slip to prepare a molded product; and sintering the molded product at a temperature of 1,800-1,850 deg.C under inert atmosphere. Preferably the ratio of silicon carbide and sintering auxiliary is 80-97 : 3-20 by weight; and the pH of slip is controlled to be 8.3-9.3.
