<p>The reverse rowing mechanism is used in sailing vessels driven by rowing. Its design ensures the possibility that the sailing vessel can move forward towards the oars and the oarsman to face the direction of the movement. It comprises housing with upper (1) and lower (14) part, connected with bolts (6). The housing has mounted: driving shaft (2), driving gear (3) and driven gear (5), mounted over shaft (4). To the driving shaft (2), supporting levers (15 and 16) are fitted. And to shaft (4) supporting levers (17 and 18) are mounted. The entire reverse rowing mechanism is supported by an axle (9) lying in bearing boxes (19) on a basic plate (21), fitted by bolts to the wall of the sailing vessel. 1 claim, 6 figures</p> |
