The composition is of amino acids stimulatory of the secretion of the growth hormone and of dehydroepiandrosterone. It serves to increase the secretion in persons in the process of ageing and compensates the possible secretion of the two hormones (or of at least one) in psychiatric affections. It increases somatic growth in adolescence. The increase in secretion of the growth hormone and/or of dehydroepiandrosterone in all the other clinical or sub-clinical situations in which an increased secretion of one or both hormones may be useful is also achieved. The composition may be as follows:- L-arginine 1mg L-lycine 1.2 mg L-glutamine 1.5 mg L-glycine 1.2 mg.
