PURPOSE: A method for extracting Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze and an extract of Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze therefrom are provided, thereby extracting both of volatile components and water soluble components of Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze. CONSTITUTION: The method for extracting Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze comprises the steps of: drying Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze; inserting the dried Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze and water into a vessel and boiling the mixture at 100 deg. C or more to collect vapor; cooling the vapor of Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze to prepare the distilled Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze solution; removing Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze from the boiled Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze solution; precipitating the Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze removed boiled solution; and removing the precipitate to prepare purified Agastache rugosa O.Kuntze solution. |
