APPARATUS FOR BLOCKING EXTERNAL AIR INFILTRATED INTO REHEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for blocking external air infiltrated into reheating furnace is provided to improve heat efficiency of the reheating furnace by minimizing influence of external cold air penetrated into the reheating furnace when opening door of the reheating furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(1) comprises first regenerative body(10) comprising an inclined nozzle lip for injecting upward flue gas of high temperature to discharge an external air penetrated into the reheating furnace through charging hole to a side of chimney(140), and a regenerative member installed in an inner space of the first regenerative body so that the regenerative member is heat exchanged with flue gas flown in the reheating furnace, wherein the first regenerative body is arranged inside a blocking wall(150); second regenerative body(20) which is communicated with the chimney by means of a pipe member, and in an inner space of which a regenerative member heat exchanged with the flue gas flown in the reheating furnace is filled; and a blower(30) connected to the first regenerative body by means of first connection pipe(31) and connected to the second regenerative body by means of second connection pipe(32) so that the blower selectively supplies flue gas to form a forward flow of high temperature flue gas from the first regenerative body to the second regenerative body when door(120) for opening and closing the charging hole is closed and form a reverse flow of high temperature flue gas from the second regenerative body to the first regenerative body when the door is opened.
