PURPOSE: Provided is a method for separating carbon dioxide from mixed gases which absorbs the carbon dioxide gas in the mixed gases in an appropriate level using a tertiary amine based absorbing agent. CONSTITUTION: The method for separating the carbon dioxide from the mixed gases is characterized in that the carbon dioxide is contacted with an aqueous solution of an amine solution containing a tertiary amine-based absorbing agent among alkanol amines such as a tri-isopropanol amine.
