PURPOSE: An emission processing method in an exhaust pipe of a vehicle is provided to simplify the process of emission through the control of flow channels for emission. CONSTITUTION: An emission processing method in an exhaust pipe of a vehicle includes the steps of making emission flow to an outlet through an adsorbing agent, and a catalyst converter in sequence for adsorbing incompletely burnt hydrocarbon in the beginning of engine starting. At a predetermined temperature of the catalyst converter, the emission flows from the adsorbing agent to the outlet via the catalyst converter, wherein the adsorbed hydrocarbon is released by the temperature of the emission and the released hydrocarbon is converted into carbon dioxide and water by the catalyst converter. In the normal state, the emission directly flows to the outlet via the catalyst converter. A thermocouple is provided to the catalyst converter for checking the normal operation of the catalyst converter.
