An inner tower (7) is detachably attached and moved in regard to an outer tower (6) which is to be connected to a straightening table. A slide is connected to a transfer device, placed in the inner tower and movable by the transfer device in regard to the inner tower. A pulling element (4) for a straightening pull is attached to the slide. The slide is arranged to move the pulling element. The slide may be attached to the inner tower for moving it and a straightening tower (2,3) in regard to the outer tower.
